Workflow Management – April 2008

The release of Propella's Workflow Management module gives companies the ability to view, manage and control their Sales Order Processing cycle in an interactive manner.

This module gives you the ability to :

• view pending orders and backorders entered manually or from import / EDI / Web
• allow senior staff to authorise orders with pricing issues
• provide ability to produce all output documents
• inform warehouse staff of picking requirements
• allow final check/change of invoice

Further developments envisaged here include a credit control processing cycle where orders may be held pending credit checks or awaiting a credit controllers override to release.

The process also has application in the purchasing area where companies provide staff with purchasing limits and any orders placed over this must first be authorised by a manager.
